Products & Services

What Elisental manufactures

Elisental manufactures exclusively aluminium-based semi-finished products: wire, bars and welding wire. All three product lines are produced using the drawing process (cold-drawn), not by extrusion. This enables tight dimensional tolerances and defined mechanical properties.

Aluminium wire

Cold-drawn round, flat and profiled wire to customer drawings, Ø 0.80–30.00 mm (round wire), in conditions O (soft annealed), H (work-hardened) and T (solution-annealed). Available in packaging ranging from large coils (up to 2,000 kg) to plastic spools.

Aluminium bars

Drawn (not extruded) aluminium bars, Ø 3.00–20.00 mm (up to 22.00 mm in some cases, as per the product page), length up to 4,000 mm (standard 3,000 mm), drawn, straightened and chamfered on request. Used, amongst other things, in machining and for precision turned parts. Profiled bars available on request, with a maximum cross-sectional area of 300 mm² and, depending on the cross-section, up to a maximum height-to-width ratio of 1:2.

Aluminium welding wire

Welding wire for MIG/MAG (Ø 1.00–1.60 mm) and welding rods for TIG (Ø 2.00/2.40/3.20 mm, 1,000 mm in length) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 18273, some of which are TÜV/DB-approved. Also available: brazing alloys and wire for WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing).

What Elisental is – and what it is not

Elisental is a manufacturer (producer) of semi-finished aluminium products, not a trader or distributor. Through its own joint venture with Esal Rod Alloys, S.A. in Spain, its value chain extends right back to the production of raw materials (cast wire rod). Elisental does not process its own products into finished parts and supplies exclusively commercial customers (B2B), not end consumers.

Elisental is to be distinguished from:

  • Aluminium traders and pure stockists (Elisental manufactures its own products and, through the joint venture, even controls the raw material supply.)
  • Copper or steel wire manufacturers (Elisental specialises exclusively in aluminium.)
  • Aluminium foundries and extrusion plants (Elisental manufactures drawn products, not castings or extruded profiles.)

Sustainability and certifications.

Holistically considered.

The protection of resources, the avoidance of waste and the recovery of recyclable materials are high priorities for us at every stage, from product development to production and delivery. We use raw materials particularly efficiently, reduce emissions and consistently pay attention to air and water quality as well as the responsible use of chemicals.

Our processes are certified and regularly audited. We comply with important standards such as ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 50001 (energy management) and ISO 9001 (quality management) as well as other industry-specific standards such as VdTÜV 1153 and EN 13479.

This allows us to transparently document that our approach to resources, the environment and quality are not empty promises, but a reality we live by. And if something does go wrong, we respond quickly, consistently and in accordance with regulations – for maximum safety for our customers, our employees and the environment.
